King Felix, a progressive/art rock ensemble founded in 1987 in Shreveport, Louisiana, was mainly a creative outlet for prodigal music naturalist Geoff Walden. In collaboration with Keith Rowley and E. Scott Hackenberg (et al.), Walden cranked out four album's worth of richly textured, lyrically obtuse, and trippily-layered compositions.
